If you haven’t made your reservations for Valentines Day dinner, don’t fret! We have a great recipe that will sure spice up your menu and knock the socks off your sweatheart!  The Spicy Lemon Garlic Shrimp Zoodles are delicious and perfectly guilt-free on the Ideal Protein diet.

INGREDIENTS

  • 7 oz shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1 garlic clove, thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups zucchini, julienned
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 tsp grape seed oil
  • sea salt & pepper

DIRECTIONS

In a hot non-stick pan with grapeseed oil, add shrimp; let sear. Once the shrimps are well seared, add red pepper flakes and then lemon juice to deglaze the pan.Lastly, add tomatoes, garlic and zucchini; let cook. Ready to serve!
