Ideal Protein Recipe of the Day: Beef With Ginger, Mushrooms & Kale

Looking for a substitute for that Chinese takeout you crave? This Ideal Protein recipe will fill that craving, except with a healthy makeover! On top of delicious ginger beef, it has a healthy dose of mushrooms and leafy greens for extra color and nutrition.








7 oz beef flank steak , thinly sliced
1 Large Portobello mushroom 1 cup kale, chopped
1/4 cup green onion, thinly sliced
3 Tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp ginger
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 tsp grape seed oil sea salt & pepper, to taste

1. Preheat oven to 375°F
2. On a baking pan, place Portobello mushroom and put in oven for approximately 15 minutes; set aside.
3. In a hot non-stick pan with grape seed oil, add flank steak; let sear. When the steak is half way cooked, add garlic and ginger; let cook.
4. Now, add kale and onions; let cook.
5. Once everything is well cooked, pour in soy sauce; let simmer for a couple of minutes.
6. Lastly, place steak mix on top of the Portobello mushroom.
